Soft fibroma என்பது மென்மையான நொடி ஆகும், இது பொதுவாக கழுத்து, கைமண்டை அல்லது இடுப்பில் தோன்றும். சிறைத் தட்டு (skin tag) அல்லது அக்ரோகோர்டன் (acrochordon) என்பது சிறிய நல்லுணர்வு புற்று (benign tumor) ஆகும், இது தோல் மடிப்புகள் இருக்கும் பகுதிகளில், உதாரணமாக கழுத்து, கைமண்டை மற்றும் இடுப்பு பகுதியில் உருவாகும். கீழ் கழுத்தில் பல Soft fibroma காணப்படுகின்றன. அரிதாக, Soft fibroma மூக்குத்தண்டு (nipple) இல் தோன்றலாம்; இதை மூக்குத்தண்டு காய்ச்சல்களின் வேறுபாட்டு நோயறிதலில் கருத வேண்டும்.
Although soft fibromas occur in the intertriginous area, including on the neck, axillae, and vulvovaginal locations, in rare cases, they can develop in the nipple. Doctors should consider soft fibroma as one of the differential diagnoses for nipple lesions.
